Though there are now quite a few Filipino restaurants here in Doha, finding a good one that gives you the best value for your money is not easy.
Good thing a friend brought me to Al Jazeera Filipino Restaurant. It's a small restaurant that serves up authentic filipino food in big, as in BIG, portions for QR15, more or less. The eatery offers a vast selection of Filipino treats, including sisig, igado and kare-kare, as well as traditional breakfast dishes.
All meals come with a truly startling large portion of rice, a staple at any Filipino meal, especially at breakfast!
I tried canton (fried noodles) and i was so surprised at the serving! Trust me, you need to bring a friend when you visit this resto since your QR15 will get you a packed plate.
